Everton have a 1 year option they can trigger. So that would mean 18months to wait for him.

If so, I imagine the club want to tie him down for longer which is why it’s not done yet.

Im not his biggest fan think he is average although he has been playing very well this season.

Nice to see a midfielder doing a bit of everything though and being everywhere instead of just doing one specific job of a midfielder.

he seems settled here, and a starter, though he'd get in that united midfield, but again we'll finish higher than them

Doesnt seem to me like the type to angle for a move when he's a starter, valued by the manager and in line for a bumper pay rise.
