2025/26 James Garner

I think we need to leave behind this old notion of the "Sky Top 6" those days are gone.

Especially given Spurs predicament,An United's fall from grace.
I'd say he wouldn't be a weekly starter at City, Chelsea, Arsenal, the RS for a start. Would he start at United instead of Fernandez? If McGinn was fit would he start at Villa? At Newcastle ahead of Tonali. Given how fast Bournemouth transition would he be an automatic starter there?

He could certainly start at the RS and United in my humble opinion.

When you consider his leadership by example role, set piece ability, brilliant athletism for recoveries, physical attributes and ability to play a number of different roles, for me he is the closest thing to another Declan Rice in the league.

I think he’s probably the best right back we have. However, he’s been one of the best midfielders in the league, and I’m disappointed whenever he doesn’t play there. I feel like we lose more from the centre, than we will gain from the right back. I’m not a huge fan of Patterson, but I’d have given him a game today. But Moyes knows more than I ever will, hopefully we compete and Garner makes us more solid. COYB
