Tbf he is very good at keeping the ball and putting in a defensive shift, both of which Emery would like. Think Jack would be frustrated by the lack of freedom to do his own thing in attack though.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's already agreed.

Can't imagine he'd be so prominent on social media representing himself as a happy Everton player otherwise (yes he's contracted to us, but most players ruled out for the reason of the season on loan would likely keep quiet).

But I wouldn't buy him permanently.
We shouldn't be moving our best attacking player out of his best position - it'll unsettle Ndiaye imo.
We should be buying younger/quicker players (whether Moyes plays them is another question).

Just watched the Under the Cosh podcast were Sherwood talks about him. Always believes he should have a free roll. Doubt Moyes ever would but I'd love to see it.
