Wouldn't be surprised in the least and certainly wouldnt hold a grudge against him if it was between us and Villa to sign him and he let his heart make the decision
An interesting turn of events. Didn’t he get a bit of unprompted clog from their fans after he left (might be imagining that).
Personally I’m wary of the potential finances for such a deal at his age, but he’s a wonderful player.

I dunno, there was a few years ago he got into a bit of trouble for some of the stuff he was posting, I remember one thing he posted of him laying on a bed with some naked bimbo draped over him and her 'bits' obscured out by emoji style footballs. It wasn't a good look and he got a bit of grief for it. Think he has grown up a bit though since then, seems settled and has a kid now.
No doubt he’s done some daft stuff, not least of all the DUI and smashing his car into a load of parked ones, but THAT image / exchange is fake.
He is so good with kids, especially those with special needs
