2025/26 Jack Grealish

Bit too small a sample size for the games without to be too meaningful yet, but over 38 games that could be extrapolated to a 15 point swing.
Not a huge surprise for me, having someone who almost never loses the ball and with the ability to draw fouls as needed controls the tempo of the game.

He's also obviously good for our forward play and clearly well liked.

Do you know this as a fact or just a confident guess?

He has probably already earned enough for his Grand children's pensions and any Siblings he may have! ridiculous the money top players can earn! If we can keep him and he has the whole of the close season to get 100% fit he could be a revelation for us next years but I have been an Everton fan long enough to know the only way you can be sure about incoming players is when you see them holding up the shirt and it would be good advertising for Toyota so we should just let him back up a van at Toyota City and just shovel in bags of cash on the QT!!
Oh the latter mate, no facts here.
More of a feeling, seasoned with a bit of hope..

A fit Jack Grealish enhances our team no doubt. However a number of factors need to be taken into consideration if we are to sign him. For a 30 year old it will still be a significant transfer fee and wages. I suspect he’ll want at least a 3 year deal with the option for a further year. Also we don’t know how Jack will be after this latest injury. The good news is that it isn’t ligaments damage so hopefully there isn’t any long term effects.

Who would have thought that losing a first choice winger would have such an impact :)

Id be interested to see what the results could have been if we had a top right winger starting with Ndiaye on the left.

I believe they would have been better ;)

He's done ok, but I wouldn't be rushing to make that kind of investment on 30 year old player.

Ndiaye should be first choice for left hand side. We shouldn't be moving our best player out of his best position.

I'd play Ndiaye left and think we need to bring in a top player for the right.

Dibling I think can rotate with both but rather see him developed in the 10 role.

His name appeared on screen during the RS game as he's still tied 4th for assists with 6. Which means he's still our assist leader.

2 in August vs Brighton
2 in August vs Wolves
2 in January vs Brentford

Theyre not exactly spread out. What that tells us, Im not sure. Perhaps, great instant impact and not too much since?

A few of us were saying his performances tailed off in terms of impact and then Moyes alluded to this in December or January as well.

Assists aren’t really an accurate stat, he’s put a good few on a plate that just haven’t been finished. Couple for Keane v villa, the Barry miss v Sunderland, and then there’s the goals where he’s the pass before, like when he played through kdh for Ndiaye v wolves

He is brutally missed atm
