Headmaster makes indecent images of children and also convicted of voyeurism offences. Gets ten months in prison and loses his job as a teacher.

His wife (who had no knowledge of the offences at the time) is also a teacher. She doesn't divorce him because her marriage vows are sacrosanct. She's sacked by her school for not divorcing her sex offender husband.

She then takes her ex school to court for religious discrimination i.e.' that she was sacked for not beliving in divorce.

Judge finds that she was in the right and it was wrong to sack her for not divorcing a peadophile. And so she deserves compensation.

Tell that to Henry Viii. The lack of catholic divorces was kind of a big deal in english history.

There were many things taught by the Catholic church of the time that weren't in harmony with the Bible. Once the Bible was translated into the common tongue, it highlighted the many inconsistencies and man made dogma within the church, and brought about the reformation. They now allow annulments within the Catholic church, although seeing as they pretty much cover up and have facilitated pedophilia in the past, they might decide an annulment wont be granted.
