We were a Ross Barkley/Niassé decision away from breaking even.

NOTHING to do with Moshiri. If them two had decided to go, we were going to break even. Just like we did last summer.

We had bids in for nobody else.

What aren't you getting here?

Because we spent more than we received; signed Sigurdsson, didn't sell anyone to fund the purchase, ergo aren't sell to buy. That's why.

Cant you see why some are taking issue with you on this?

Several sources said we were talking to his club, your own reputable source is you.
Our owner confirmed we had accepted a £35m offer for Barkley.

Sky Sports said Niassé was talking to Crystal Palace. Who knows what went wrong there?

No reputable source has said that we had a bid in for Jiminez.

The only sources that come up with a Google search are The Sun, Talksport and Liverpool Echo citing other reports. They claim a loan bid was lodged.

Where was the real intent to spend the Barkley money when we accepted Chelsea's bid?

And then you say that is proof that you are right. You may well be, but it is your theory that is now being told as a fact.

It isnt. Thats my point.

Like, you say cos the combined fees for Ross and Niasse were roughly £45m, so thats your proof that they were needed to balance the Gylfi purchase. But we offered Ross a deal of circa £100k pw, well before we enquired about him.

Its fine making assumptions and that, but to then dress your findings up as facts, and berating those who dont agree, well, dont get it.

Sorry, I misunderstood your post.

Of course, it is my opinion that we are still sell to buy. We may not be.

I'm basing my opinion on us accepting bids for Barkley and Niassé close to a move away. We the had no one else on the way in. If we did, I think Moshiri or Sky Sports may have mentioned it.

It could be argued that one of Sigurdsson or Klaassen wouldn't have been bought had Barkley not refused a deal.

Indeed. A closer look at that overdraft facility might be interesting mind.....

FWIW, I am not that arsed if we have sold players to balance the books. The 2 we would have preferred to keep both wanted out anyrate, so maximise that revenue is the ideal scenario there.

The clubs non TV income has improved, and will continue to do so.

We have spent more on players that we have received over a few windows now, but to answer the question, Is it Moshiri's cash? No, I very much doubt it.
