Great lead this, we could have the title wrapped up before christmas.

Mina, Gomes, McCarthy were all injured before the season kicked off and still are.

It is reaching farcical levels at such an early part of the season and not helped by arguably our best in form new player (Richarlison) picking up a daft red card and 3 match ban. Everton that!!! Relieved that he didnt pick up any injuries with Brazil though and only has one more game to sit out and hopefully Mina, Bernard and Walcott are close to being fit enough to play.

We’re top of this most seasons. It was the same last season. The season before Bolasie got crocked, so did Seamus, McCarthy could barely feature. It plagued us under Moyes too. I don’t know what the root is, perhaps we buy players no one else wants because they are injury prone, or perhaps because we’re a bit rubbish we put players into 50-50 positions where they stretch for the ball and get injured, or we train in a way that leads to injuries. All I kno is that other clubs do no get the annual raft of injuries that we get. We won’t be successful until we stop them.

Just need to scrape through West Ham. Hopefully we should have Walcott, Bernard, Mina and Gana all back (along with Richarlison) with Keane and Gomes not far off. Need to make sure we dont pick up any this week!

You would imagine its only Bernard and Walcott who will be having late fitness tests. Think Gueye will be out another 1-2 weeks as will Mina, Gomes and Keane imo.

Crazy how many injuries we have, West Ham is essentially a win at all costs by hook or by crook.
