I have to be honest, for all the good and logical reasoning, it's still the thing that worries me most: why the hell is anybody expecting the Premier League to act righteous and justly?

they've got themselves in a pickle because they didnt think it through, why should we expect them to become deep thinkers now? It'll be about how they can save their face, if we get thrown under the bus, we're an acceptable casualty. Anything we get from them will be fortuitous and there will be a bigger perceived benefit for the PL

Just to clarify, I meant I would hope the City fans chant was tongue in cheek, not the United scum bags, who are intolerable and thankfully have an even worse recruitment team than us.

The 10 pt deduction worked in our favour initially as it created an "us v them" situation that drove us on. At some point that wears off and I think that's what we've seen over Christmas. I expect we'll get at least half the points back but we also need to get back to doing the basics properly. We simply weren't up for the game today.

Whilst I still think we'll be alright this season.. those 10 points have caused more harm than what was originally envisioned IMO.

For what It's worth - I really cannot stand the Premier League. If it wasn't for the fact that relegation would likely send the club to the brink financially I wouldn't kill myself over relegation if I'm being totally honest.

No chance we get a single point back now, they'll want a relegation battle going into the end of the season. Giving us points back kills that.
