IN HIS PRIME WHICH PLAYER?

Would have liked more Lineker too - but he doesn't fit here because technically he was in his prime that season.

In your time watching Everton which player that played for the club who was past his best would you liked to have seen at Everton in his prime? Apart from present day which would be Eto'o, I would have to say Colin Todd. What's your thoughts?

Sadly Duncan Ferguson's prime lasted all too short a while. Had he looked after himself and avoided the injuries as best he could, he'd have got near double the goals he finished with.
Had Kanchelskis not been puppeted around by Rusian third party triads he'd have either stayed at Old Trafford or had even more of an impact with us.
Materazzi lifted the Word Cup as captain of his country, only Patrick Vieira has done the same and been a PL player.

Joe Parkinson could have been tough guy of the universe, but getting that close meant something had to give - his ACL - today it isn't a career killer, but he took the frightners to Keane. Sport is full of sucj near misses.

If Best hadn't been addled by drink, if Garcoigne had been slapped enough to grow up past an eleven year old, if if if...

Wasn't his ACL, he had no cartlidge between his bones so they rubbed together!!

Anyway, Ian Wilson!
