Yes…. ‘hope you took your scarf down’ was the comment said in jest in the Boleyn pub afterwards from a couple of hammers! They appreciated it though. ‘cos it makes a change from all the ingerland lot going on about Bobby Moore, no-one remembers the fourth guy on that statue so fair play for reminding everyone it was a team effort and not just one club that won in 1966 etc etc’. We then had a good chat about WHU v EFC games there over the years. And all the points we came back with ! Only loss I saw there was the Adrian game (even that was a draw). And probably the best was my first game there when even Joe Max-Moore scored!
