I'm on my stag party with my dad and mates in your fair old city! Went to Barton Rouge for an Indian last night and had a wander round such fare as The Alchemist, Tom Hall's Tavern and Castle Street.

Got a few things planned today!

Outside of trips to Goodison, this is the first time I've had a good wander around Liverpool.

Cracking place and cracking people!

I drove past a minibus of red-scarf wearing amoebas all standing around the Penny Lane sign at nine o'clock this morning. Nine o'clock!

Plus the area around the Anglican Cathedral is a fine place to eat and drink later on too.

At all costs avoid Wood Street and Concert Square - it`s like an episode of Gomorrah down there at the weekend.
