Not tired, and my soccer junkie cravings are not quite satisfied by the old Serie A game on FSC right now. Since I'm new around here, I figure it's time for some education.

Share your wisdom, O internet friends. Wikipedia can only do so much. Time to play 20 questions.

About EFC:
1. Best moments? (on and off the pitch)
2. Legends of the club?
3. What's the LFC vs. EFC breakdown among people who actually live in Liverpool? Is it regional, or a family thing? Do the "people on the street" really support Everton?
4. How do we feel about former players? Which ones went with a blessing, and which are sellouts?
5. What cheers should I learn? (So that I can sing them, alone, in my dorm room, when I am watching games instead of getting work done...)
6. Does Everton have any connection to other league teams, à la Liverpool/M'gladbach?
7. What are the origins of Everton's nicknames? Any fun player nicknames?
8. Can you give me an abridged version of the stadium drama? Or, better question: Why can't they just rebuild/improve Goodison instead of all this talk of moving?

About EFC:
1. Best moments? (on and off the pitch) 1) Winning the FA Cup final in 1995 at 14, whilst eating Everton mints sat with 6 fellow Evertonians at home 2) Rooney's goal against Arsenal 3) Radzinski's winner against Southampton in 2003 I think, my best friend unleashed spontanious press ups as a celebration in the middle of my lounge (to date, best celebration I've ever seen) not sure if that game had any real importance, but it was just one of those moments 4) When Carsley scored the winner against Blues a few years ago, I was hugged by a stranger in the Lower Gwladys stand 5) Seeing Big Dunc knock out Bobic for no reason with a punch.....I could go on for hours

2. Legends of the club? In my life time and perhaps not legends but just players I loved, Big Dunc, Kanchelskis, Arteta, Cahill and Amokachi

3. What's the LFC vs. EFC breakdown among people who actually live in Liverpool? Is it regional, or a family thing? Do the "people on the street" really support Everton? Pass, I live 100 miles away, but know more people my age who support Everton than any other team (we're all glory supporters from the mid 80's)

4. How do we feel about former players? Which ones went with a blessing, and which are sellouts? Jeffers, Rooney and Barmby really hurt, and probably Lescott, but I was just chuffed that we were getting 24 million for a player and replacing him with The Heit + Distin!!! Sad to see Tommy Gravesen go, but I was happy for him

5. What cheers should I learn? it's a grand old team to play for......look it up

6. Does Everton have any connection to other league teams, à la Liverpool/M'gladbach? We have a bit of a relationship with Preston through Moyes I guess

7. What are the origins of Everton's nicknames? Any fun player nicknames? Pienaar (Peanuts), Rodwell (Rodzilla)

8. Can you give me an abridged version of the stadium drama? Or, better question: Why can't they just rebuild/improve Goodison instead of all this talk of moving? I know we're adding an extra building (theres a thread somewhere) to Goodison, so I don't think we'll be moving any time soon

9. Besides Cesspool FC, how do we feel about the other EPL teams? Newcastle are quite a team to follow. Signing Sol Campbell kind of tops it off, quite a circus there. Man City are not in our good books for obvious reasons. I'd say my 2nd team in the Premier if I had too, would be Arsenal, purely based on watching them play, nothing else.

10. How did David Moyes come to be so very, very awesome? I once heard a tale that when Kenwright met Moyes, he knew he was the one. He said he only ever had feeling about one other person in his life that he met, when he was a kid. As a young lad he met Paul McCartney apparently and told his Mom that he met a boy that's gonna change the world. What a great made up story that is, but I still love it. Moyes is just the best. He's been given time, no real money, so no massive expectations and pressure, and he's been given the green light to do whatever he wants.

General:
1. What other soccer sites do you recommend? Skysports New, BBC is all I use

2. How do you deal with players you hate being on your national team? Or players you love going to a club you hate? Watching England is painful. Not since 1990 have I really liked the players playing for us, ok maybe 1996 too. The thought of A.Cole, Terry etc winning anything for their country was a not a good one

3. If you could have one player join Everton for free, who would you choose? Landon Donovan. He fit perfectly. Yeah we could have Messi why not, but LD was just ace.

4. If you could bring back one former Blue for free, who would you choose? Rooney maybe (minus the bad feelings), shame he left in the way he did

5. Indulge me - what are the chances of my favorite player (Bradley) ever ending up on my favorite team? (y) He looks good to be honest, just don't think we're in need in that department. Until the day we are, can't really see it happening. Unless he fancies chipping in at left back at times =)

1. What are some of the great forum moments I should know about? I do remember someone looking to book an away ticket for Everton abroad, but was going to book a flight in totally the wrong country, ha

I ain't so wise, or old enough to remember the many Everton players of the past, or been on here often/long enough but i'll answer as best I can.

About EFC:
1. Best moments? (on and off the pitch) 95 Cup final with my MAnU supporting mate :) Kanchelskis signing, Big Dunc v Man U, Osman v Larissa, Cahill v Chelsea, Neville v Ronaldo
2. Legends of the club? Too many to mention here but Dixie has to be said
3. What's the LFC vs. EFC breakdown among people who actually live in Liverpool? Is it regional, or a family thing? Do the "people on the street" really support Everton? I wouldn't know, I live in London!
4. How do we feel about former players? Which ones went with a blessing, and which are sellouts? Radzinski, Rooney, Lescott and Barmby are all bad bad whoppers

7. What are the origins of Everton's nicknames? Any fun player nicknames? AVM used to be called Shandy Andy. Yobocop. We're really not good with nicknames! :O
8. Can you give me an abridged version of the stadium drama? Or, better question: Why can't they just rebuild/improve Goodison instead of all this talk of moving? Some people wanted to move to Kirkby cos Goodison is too old/falling down/doesn't generate enough revenue/can't be improved. Some people were against it because it was [Poor language removed]/too far/outside the city boundaries/not Goodison/Goodison could be redeveloped. It got ugly. Was like the War of the Roses mixed with the 100 Years War :( Best not to mention it tbh. And avoid DaveK :P
9. Besides Cesspool FC, how do we feel about the other EPL teams? We hate anyone with lots of money, or at least [Poor language removed] teams who suddenly got invested in/bought by some sugar daddy. Also teams that think they are bigger, better and more important than they are. See: Chelsea, Man City, Newcastle, B'ham etc etc
10. How did David Moyes come to be so very, very awesome? Did well @ PNE, given time and support here, even when the going got rough....

1. What other soccer sites do you recommend? ESPN Soccernet.
2. How do you deal with players you hate being on your national team? Or players you love going to a club you hate? Personally when they put on that shirt, personal feelings go out the window. I just want our national team to do well. There aren't really any players I love that aren't Everton players atm, tho I hate to see good players leave our league, eg Ronaldo, Fabregas if he goes.
3. If you could have one player join Everton for free, who would you choose? Donovan I guess, because it's not actually fantasy, he's been here, we know what he can do for us.

1. What are some of the great forum moments I should know about? I dunno, i missed the thing metioned above. I'm sure there's been other good stuff, but my memory is pretty bad...
2. What the heck is up with the pineapple on pizza business? Chico.... Some people think it is an abhoration to put pineapple (sweet) on pizza (savoury), partially cos 'its just wrong' and partially cos the Italians don't do it. It's like a Rite of Passage/Trial/Ritual on here...
3. Have any fun traditions around here? What do you think of Pineapple on pizza??? :O
4. Tell me some embarrassing secrets about my fellow posters. You'd have to ask some of the others... a lot of the guys meet up/go to the games together etc

Like I said before, I only recently (last year) started supporting Everton, so Im going to answer these questions as of last year.

About EFC:
1. Best moments? (on and off the pitch) Beating Man City 2-0 twice (Fellaini's roulette, the look on Lescotts face when Arteta scored), Pienaars goal vs Arsenal when we beat them, Cahills last minute winner vs Blackburn, Rodwells goal when we beat Man Utd, and Donovans goal vs Hull (Rodwell picked him up and Neville led USA USA chants).
2. Legends of the club? Pass (I do know most of them, but youll probably get those from other people)
3. What's the LFC vs. EFC breakdown among people who actually live in Liverpool? Is it regional, or a family thing? Do the "people on the street" really support Everton? N/A
