The trouble is that if a player is great at a club, and then leaves, then if he returns years later and is just 'good', even if still better than anyone else in the position, it's just not the same as first time around. You wonder if people will be expecting the much younger player we saw before, and be disappointed with anything less, regardless of how much of a step up from our shower of last season.

I think it'll probably be fine, but he won't be as good at 33 as he was in his prime (which is when we had him last time). Some lids will go berserk and claim he's Nyarko mk 2, most likely the goat ironically then jumped on by some miserabilists who didn't get the joke, when in reality he'll still be a good player just not as good as first time around.
