With his return from afcon he was well off it for a few games as was Illy but that does not define a crap season. He is very important to us still but you can see he is slightly regressing but still a good player for us. Nowt crap about IdrissaSo you were happy with him being crap for the last 4-5 games then and we should ignore that because he played well against an atrocious team?
Maybe that's why I didn't say "crap season" but "crap the last 4-5 games" in the post you're quoting? He's been largely between mediocre and bad the entire season, but was crap in the post-AFCON days as Moyes threw him straight in. Today was a better one but it's against dogwater opposition, and he was still frustrating with most of his shooting and passing - kicking the ground, passing straight to them (just to win it back, hilariously). With his return from afcon he was well off it for a few games as was Illy but that does not define a crap season. We don't need to pretend he's been amazing because he played well vs. Burnley; so did Mykolenko.
As he isn't in the eyes of many others, considering this thread exists and you can go back as far as you want - the last 20-30 pages are mostly, if not almost entirely, criticism of him.Doesn't a crap season equate to the bolded quote
Whose pretending. He has still played well the majority of the season. Well in the eyes of many people
Yeah same ones in every match thread. Like a bunch of lefties wanting something to complain about. As he isn't in the eyes of many others, considering this thread exists and you can go back as far as you want - the last 20-30 pages are mostly, if not almost entirely, criticism of him.
And it doesn't equate to it - it was Burnley, that's the comment - he's had a below average season imo considering his last few and his age is showing a lot more, and this was against opposition where Iroegbunam looked like a world beater, before he got shown up against better opposition. There's a reason they are where they are.
