I’d say he’s definitely worth keeping as a squad player and would be very useful off the bench to add legs and help close out games, however the manager would not be able to help himself flogging him for 100 minutes every single game if the opportunity is there to do so. Might be best if the option is taken away from him, same as if Doucoure stayed he would’ve continued to be integral and we probably wouldn’t have even signed KDH.

Agreed - he still played 25 games for us, scrambled, me old mucker, which seems a fairly high amount and one I would have expected to trigger the extension, hence my comment about him needing 40 apps.
Please let him go , thank you for your efforts through the years but I don't have the constitution to withstand watching a 37 year old starting ever week in midfield especially with how weak is on the ball and he's not a sitting defensive midfielder

We need to move on from Gueye. He is 37 later this year and while he still has good games his consistency has dropped which is understandable. This manager will never rotate him so it's best if he moves on.

I'm not saying he's 'elite' but there's very little chance of us picking up a better number 6 than Garner.
