2025/26 Idrissa Gana Gueye

I thought he was terrific last night at the things he’s there to do - it looked like as soon as needed the ball back that he alongside KDH and Jimmy Garner were like a pack of wolves.

I was a bit frustrated with him a few times in possession / creating but I suppose that’s a bit like judging a fish on its ability to climb a tree.

He probably shouldn't but will mate, Davey wont take risks at this stage of the season, its not in his nature.

Whatever about starting im surprised his mins haven't been managed more.
Oh I'm more talking about next season tbh, I agree he isn't going to change much now for the last few games no matter how much people want him too.

Personally id like to see Garner take the role and then play with two 8's.

Id go 4-3-3, not bring back Grealish and get a wide left forward and another striker or a right one if Illy stays.

Two proper full back as well obviously!

We seem to have a lot of interest in Hackney at Boro, I like the idea of a midfield of KDH, Hackney, and Garner tbh.

I haven’t seen him live just highlights, but seems a profile on the rise annd a lot to like creatively and he’s knocking down markers put in front of him.

I don’t think Tim makes it here if I’m honest, he’s the low hanging fruit to move IMO.

Can just imagine messi thinking he’s either insane or simple after watching watching up get pumped at home by Watford
