Some players wouldn't take too well to swapping passing to Messi, Neymar and Mbappe for Gordon, Gray and Maupay but he doesn't seem to mind. Incredible player, world class in his position and its all about how the club has made him feel at home that he even considered coming to us, he could easily be playing Champions League football. Plays like someone much younger than his years

His sale was the reason that Silva’s team fell apart and he was ultimately sacked and his signing could be one of a few big catalysts for Frank taking us back up the table.
The team spirit seems immense and he’s slotted right back in to being a big part of that. Another win first game back after the break about Southampton and we’ll have built up a bit of momentum!

Just read a report on Ganas game against West Ham on how he nullified West Ham and the line that struck me was

'Everton never finished outside the top eight in his time at Goodison or in it since he left. Now they are in 13th and even that is their highest position of 2022. If that shows how far they fell, and if a win came because West Ham played poorly, Idrissa Gueye can specialise in making opponents play badly.

Sums up his importance

I liked the term “grafticos “. Perhaps patronising but patently true

He reads the game and anticipates better than anyone I’ve ever seen at Everton. That bodes well for his longevity.

I'm sure he remembers the many fans that wished him well and thanked him for always giving 100% before his move to PSG
