Let's say we have
£6m.
In:
£2m - Wissam Ben Yedder
22 year old striker playing for Toulouse in France. Scored 7 goals in 9 league matches so far this season. Used to play futsal, so he is very skillfull. Quick, clinical finisher who is also good with his head despite being only 1.70. Can play wide or behind the striker. He's also got U21 games for France.
£4m - Tomas Rincon
24 year old defensive midfielder for Hamburg and Venezuela (where he is also captain). Works his @ss off every game, and is a great tackler. Not the most creative player, but imo he is what we need in the midfield. He's only scored once in his entire career (5 years ago in the Venezuelan league), so he's not known for his goal scorings, but he did
this in a friendly.
Pre contract - Lewis Holtby
22, Schalke. Been a lot of talk about him lately. His contract is out at the end of the season, and he supports Everton. He's a great attacking midielder who can score and set up goals, and that is something we need. I can't see any reasons for us not to be in for him. We should at least give it a try. He would become an instant legend if he snubbed the RS or Arsenal to play for us.
---
These three players have been linked with us after the summer window ended, so it's quite likely that we have at least had a look on them. I don't see any reason to sell anyone in January. What we need is depth. Maybe loan out Gueye / Vellios to a Championship side. Would also like to see Barkley get more games when he's back from Sheff Wed.
Other players that could be interesting:
Philipp Hosiner
Charlie Austin
Moussa Sissoko
Jozy Altidore
Wilfried Bony
Vegard Forren
Vasilios Torosidis
