I mean none of these stupid regional laws actually mean anything cos the national laws against murder take precedence.

So it seems pointless to abolish them. Just makes the world a slightly less ecentric place.

Still legal in York to shoot any Scotsman who enters the City walls with a bow or arrow except on Sunday !

I heard it's still legal in Chester to shoot welsh people with a crossbow. Doubt it's true though.
