Found this at the bottom:

Victoria, Australia
How many members of the public does it take to change a light bulb in Victoria, Australia? None! Only a qualified electrician is allowed to take on such a task. Anyone defying this law could receive a fine of up to AU$10 (£5.50).

Imagine finding an electrician who will come change a lightbulb for $10!

And not to long ago it was legal in Nottingham between certain hours of the day to shoot someone with a bow and arrow

I mean none of these stupid regional laws actually mean anything cos the national laws against murder take precedence.

So it seems pointless to abolish them. Just makes the world a slightly less ecentric place.

I heard it's still legal in Chester to shoot welsh people with a crossbow. Doubt it's true though.

Edit: could be York and not Chester
