3.6 Not great, Not terrible.

Given where we were, the quality of the squad, and having a legendary manager in charge.. I’d say it’s a disaster. We should’ve easily finished top 4.

Style of football warrants a 2, but our ability to grind out torturous results brings it up to a 4 for me. We are the worst team to watch in the league by a long run.

Good spells, both in the cups and league. To win at Anfield and Emirates was nice and necessary.

To finish 10th and achieve nothing more with that is very underwhelming. A 5 for me.

10 goals scored in the last 14 league games. The only winning scoreline in that stretch was 1-0.

If it wasn’t for some decent away results , be lower.

Again we are looking at a narrative of “big summer” “big changes needed” . The monotonous cycle goes on.

I never understood the high praise for Brands, certain players , Billy the blue and even the manager isn’t infallible. I’m not saying not support them, a cult like attitude is to the detriment of the club and does no one any favours tho and it’s borderline delusional at times.

Get on with it I guess?
