Geographically the midlands is far bigger than the north west, Villa are by far the most historically successful top flight team from their region, whereas were in 3rd place within our own region from a trophy only POV, no great shock in the figures tbh

i don't use fassbook but you can buy likes, have a look and see if they have an oddly high amount of likes in somewhere like mexico or somewhere else obscure... if so they have bought those likes.

Having said that they probably just have more fans.

I know what you are saying, but we are by far the more successful club, at least in recent years and in terms of league position, and we do have a growing reputation in the States. I highly doubt they have more 'fans'...something not right.

Well, they are the best club in the second city, they have been trailing just behind us for a long long time (until Ellis Short found he got nothing more in his pocket), and they are not the most unfashionable club in the Prem after Stoke. They actually have better commercial potential than us.

That said 1.25m fans is a highly manufactured number.
