How bad was it at work/wherever today?

Not bad in work, deleted Facebook and Twitter for at least the next week though because I'm not looking at anything to do with the game.

Got a text about nine this morning from some scruff kopite. Knew it would contain the usual gracious words that we've come to expect from the classless bells, so I ignored it until about 12, when curiosity got the better of me.
It said, 'was this you last night' ? Followed by a picture of a bloke and his bird, wearing blue kits and scarfs, and crying at the match.
I text him back and politely pointed out that I wasn't a Leicester fan! and also reminded him what a cretin he was.

Most knowledgeable fans in the world.....

My older brother came to see me to drop an Xmas gift an Everton shirt - he has wat he'd the blues since 1958 - like me we do not like the brand of football RK is serving up all season - he reminded me of the time when that lot were in Division two and beat us in the FA Cup 4-0 at Goodision he stated that was totally humiliating living with that as my late father came home from the game told him we were rubbish thumped the red lot were we lived have us a hard time!

They just patronise me now mainly which I almost dislike more. "Oh yous were so close to a draw". "Yous boys were so spirited almost battling to a great draw." "Oh you must be gutted, thought yous were defending so solidly."

DO ONE YOU RS

My attitude is f them.Im always proud to be an Evertonian win lose or draw.Of course im very depressed right now after losing a derby in the way that we did last night.Football is all about the highs and lows and sadly for us both the trophies and the derby wins have dried up over the past few years. But things were bleak in late 1983 as well and things turned around.Who knows come next May we might have the FA Cup back in the trophy cabinet and last night will be forgotten if we beat them the next time at their place. It's very easy to wallow in misery right now.But watching great Everton moments of the past on youtube helps. We all know this already but it's always no harm to think of what the name Everton represents.Dixie Dean, the Golden Vision, the Holy Trinity, Brian Labone, the great team of the 80's, playing Bayern Munich off the park, Joe Royles dogs of war, Joe Royle telling the press so much for the dream final but b***cks to that and that's with a double l!

The name Everton stands for class dignity great football and achievement. We have won more league titles than both Man City and Chelsea combined after all.We have the finances now to help us get back to where we belong.Everton always have been and always will be the number 1 team in the city but i can see us reclaiming our place as the official number 1 team in the city within the next 10 years or sooner. We should also have a shiny new stadium on the waterfront that will make our red neighbours green with envy.Im rambling big time here but this helps me to clear my head and i actually really feel a lot happier now.The point is keep the heads up Everton are boss and always will be boss. The city of Liverpool is Royal Blue and it always will be Royal Blue.

Fine for me! I'm a big old lump and I just threatened to beat them to a jam if they so much as looked at me! Them being the shifty-eyed inbred snots they are, they all scuttled off and practiced their Danish grammar with each other!

The benefit of being the boss is you can weadle them out at the interview . I just dont employ them.

I got asked once by a new boss what team I supported, since I was 18 at the time i decided to play safe and told them im not interested in football, only problem was I then worked there for just over 12 months and all they talked about was football so i felt like i had to keep the lie going and just kept quite when the subject came up even thou the boss was a blue!!

Same 'ere, be gracious in defeat and the feckers don't have a clue what to do with themselves...

yep, simpletons spring to mind.

I can take getting beat last night because it wasn't due to lack of effort. It was resorting to the type of football a 5 year old kid would play on a Sunday of kick it as far and as high as possible and hope for the best. That happens when your men up top seem to think it's not important to hold the ball, protect it, bring others into play etc. Can't win games of football playing like that so it's easy to say "I don't think we deserved anything" and pipe that shower of scruffs right down
