For quickness, I used to like thick cut oven chips, now converted to oven french fries.

If we've got time still can't beat well done homemade chips which the missus always insists are Maris Piper tatties.

Best chips ever created were the soggy fried in dripping chips of lodge road chippy in Southampton back in the 80s.

I think the combination if market forces and the increase in many vocal vegetarians delighted with their new found uniqueness put paid to that gastronomic delight.

You can stick the deep-fried slices of bone-dry MDF that pass as french fries up your fundament as far as I'm concerned, and burn to the ground any establishment that calls them chips.

The chippy on rice Lane whos friar was/is in the city museum had the best chips ever.
But for the poll I prefer the skinny French fries.
