The definition of historical science is using knowledge that is already currently known to tell the story of what happened in the past. Operational science involves repeatable experimentation in the here and now. When we talk about science we need to make a distinction between the two. One is evidence based, the other involves a lot of guess work.

Class dismissed.

Kin'ell Hibbo, the last time I saw anyone in a scientific community typing such stuff it was someone pushing a creationist philosophy.

What do you mean by 'already known' science? Are you implying that if its historical and already known then it is in some way less valid? Science in the past was still evidence based (if it's to count as science) - though granted our ability to measure is somewhat better in the present.
