Does anyone have any experience of imagration services in the UK as some people might know Sergey Tomashevsky (Russian Evertonian) from the forum but he is being held in a detention Center near Heathrow after coming to the UK at the weekend to claim Asylum.
This all came about at the Kiev away game because he was interviewed by a Ukrainian reported the day before the match about why he was an Everton fan and why being a Russian has he come to the Ukraine to watch us. During the interview he happened to mention that he was Anti Putin and Pro Ukraine .
Matchday came and the article was published and almost immediately he began to receive death threats and warnings about going back to Russia after the game. He returned home back to Russia the day after the game and things began to get worst so fearing for his life he decided to come to the UK and try to claim asylum .
He arrived at Gatwick airport on Friday and has been held in a detention Center since then ! He has had his phone and belongings taken from him and is Obviously shocked and scared that this is happening to him and he is in need of help. If any fellow Blues have any contacts or could help in anyway it would be gratefully received .
It's hard to believe that this has all happened because of his love of watching Everton,Thanks for taking the time to read this and you can contact me by Email at layliffe@hotmail.com
