Hi I'm Lionhead, I've been a Blue for over 30 years and live in Manchester. No longer have a season ticket due to family commitments and the price of petrol!
I'm a big fan of the site and have been lurking on here for many a month soaking in the banter and constructive debate that takes place on here. Really is a boss site.
Whilst this season has been pretty pap compared to others in more recent years, at least we can claim to have a crop of youngsters that are offically the best in the land. On that topic can anyone explain why winning the Academy League is not lauded like the Youth Cup?
Many great sides have built their own sucess on the back of well trained youth side with a winning mentality, Ajax in 1995, the current Barcelona side and Fergies Fledgling (although they lost the Youth Cup final the following year to Leeds). I dont think Utd would have won so many titles if it hadn't been for this crop of youngster coming through at the same time.
Do you think that our crop of winners will have a similar impact on our first team?
