I have a connection to your city through family. I was staying in Halewood looking after my old man when he was ill. It was only a short walk to your training ground and I used to walk past when your lot were training to get my football fix when I was away from home.
My old man was a massive red and it was his arrogance about football which made me really hate Liverpool and through that I took a shine to Everton. I know someone who works at your club, so I hear little things now and again which I’m happy to pass on.
