Hello everyone.

Back in 1990-1994, I was a little kid and knew very little about football, let alone the Premier League. I could barely name three or four clubs.

It was wartime during that period, and we used to receive gift packages from the UK. They came in two types: "For Boys" and "For Girls."

I remember opening mine in 1994 or maybe 1995. It was filled with high-quality toys and included an Everton scarf and some other Everton memorabilia, like badges. I was thrilled because it was the first time I'd received a fan scarf dedicated to a specific football club. Later, I was told that the package was sent by an Everton fan.

I was very grateful because those kinds of things were hard to come by in those days.

I don't know who sent me the package; there were no names. But I'd like to say THANK YOU!

That scarf is a primary reason why I am following Everton from 2008 - onwards whenever I can. Cheers.
Fantastic that mate. 💙
It must have been a horendous time for you to live through. Most of us are lucky enough not to have spent our childhoods in a war zone and I find it unimaginable.
It's great to hear that charitable donations like that really can make a difference to somebodys life and stay in the memory for ever.
Welcome to the forum @Wizav ;)
