One thing that is for sure is that what a players price was a month ago will not be what it is now, especially to a club with a lot of money and an urgent need for a player.

So my mates just phoned me and told me a lad he knows thinks its a stright fight between us and the RS for Rhodes, Also Heitinga is going to Spurs and we are going in for Scott Dann

Do you think I should make a thread about it?

Yes. That's what forums are for.

Signed for Atletico Madrid this morning, £6m.

You are worse than Twitter sometimes.

Principally from the various trusted ITKs on here...the understanding was that this was an offer from the turks, not something we offered them. But tbf who knows?

Frankly, given Spuds now have £30 odd million burning a hole in their pocket and 3 days to spend it, a welter of jarg options are bound to arise, but a move for Heits makes pefect sense for them and given their need to act quickly, the price would be higher.

EDIT: Just read Sheeds above and so swiftly retract the bo**ocks I just came out with!

Don't get me wrong I think there was massive confusion as there was apparently a Dutch third part agent working principaly for Everton and there were two or three agents working on Yobo it's was a whole huge mess to be honest . In fairness to everton it was an offer for almost a ""2 for 1" price and it was less than we wanted , I also think the 3rd parties exceeded their remit to be honest.

All that said it was instigated by us initially in my opinion and given his financial package I certainly think you'd get him for less than £9m , never mind £9m plus a very talented youngster and especially if you were dealing with spurs.

I love how people think that just because a friend supports a different club they will automatically know every fine detail of their transfer movement.

Warnings for what, passing on something you've been told?

What's a forum for?

I suggest you go and spend some time in the real world.

Here's your problem mate. Twitter is not the real world. What your mate heard from some girl standing in line for the bathroom at Burger King is not the real world.

Some forums might be down with making up crap and flinging it against the wall to see how it looks. This ain't one of those forums.
