Heitinga

No chance.

They rate Caulker and they wouldn't even pay a straight £9m for Heitinga, let alone £9m plus Caulker

Levy is one of the best negotiators in the business and he will know we almost sold Heitinga to Fener for about £5m, so why would he offer nearly double that?

Spot on in my opinion

At the moment Heitinga is only cover, cover on very high wages, even though I really rate Heitinga,Everton dont/cant afford to have too many players on high wages, especially when there not first choice. It would make sense to sell him,buy someone like Scott Dann, or maybe Caulker if DM fancies him in part ex and then with the surplus cash from Johnny and Rodwell £14m?,buy 2 really good players in positions we need,(RW/Playmaker or striker.

These Twitter rumours are taking the mick now.

Threads need to be locked and warnings handed out, they really do. I'm not meaning to "play the moderator" here but it's gone too far. People use these forums to find and discuss genuine information about Everton.

Warnings for what, passing on something you've been told?

What's a forum for?

I suggest you go and spend some time in the real world.

...except we didn't 'almost' sell Heits for £5m. When they made that ridiculous offer we firmly told Bahce where to go. So no, £5m does not suddenly become the going rate for him off that episode. World cup finalist who is versatile, had a great season last year with us and is at his peak in terms of age, I'd say £9m is about ball-park in the current market (Dawson £6m??). Adding Caulker would be a massive extra tho and I really can't see Levy agreeing to that.

As much as the twitter rumours do my head in, what's just as annoying is people going "FFS ANOTHER TWITTER RUMOUR" when he said this rumour isn't off twitter. Doubt it's true but that offer would be hard to say no to.

So my mates just phoned me and told me a lad he knows thinks its a stright fight between us and the RS for Rhodes, Also Heitinga is going to Spurs and we are going in for Scott Dann

Do you think I should make a thread about it?

If you search Heitinga + Caulker on Twitter it comes up with no results.

Not saying this is legit, but yeah, can't really blast someone saying this is a Twitter rumour when it isn't even one....

Seems utterly jarg.

No way we'd get £9m for Heitinga after the Fenerbahce debacle.

And definitely not with Caulker thrown in. They rate him there. Unless of course it was a season-long loan.
