Has Moyes lost the dressing room?

Im just throwing this out there but has DM lost the respect of the players

Yesterday there seemed to be no effort and drive from the side i would only exclude Distan, Baines and Fellini in spells

With the starting 11 very rarely changing(yes i understand the squad is small) shorly the fringe players are becoming frustrated with not getting there chance when out of form players are played week in week out without fail

Have they basically become tied of his tactics, teamtalks, subs, team selections etc

Yes.

Business as usual will sink us. It's now very apparent when you watch other clubs we are sadly playing with no vigor and excitement. It seems like we are slogging around with chains attached. I agree with other posters a new emphasis with youngsters getting a turn is necessary now. Gueye and Bily need more looks and Rodwell needs to picked ahead of Arteta next week. Will it happen no way. But we will be continuing to struggle until we do. I am just so frustrated with this silly season that surviving the drop is paramount. I hope this summer doesn't see our stars start walking.

That's interesting considering Distin said Moyes gave an incredible team talk at half time at Anfield...

Its easy to suggest that the manager's lost players respect. But in many cases that's a cliché used by some (posters) to undermine a manager's position.

If they don't respect him then they're a disgrace. What's to stop them not respecting ANY Everton manager?

If any player doesn't respect the manager - they can be dropped.

The cause of this is some players not performing and not being consistent (Distin and Fellaini excepted).

They're off to a training camp. A break of routine.

That's a perfect time to find out what's going on in one or two's heads.

Given than bily scored yesterday, who is not first choice and, regardless of what you think, we do keep going to the end I'd say no.

We do have problems. We have no cutting edge, possibly we have moved too far toward keep ball, some senior players have to step up

Overall I think the players are behind him, but I am a long term IMWT bloke. This season is written off (ish) but I'd love a player or two come through the ranks and give mesomething to hold on to.

I'm over 40 and the game has changed immeasurably....couldn't think of a better one for us given our position. MON certainly can't work on a shoestring

Moyes hasn't lost the dressing room at all, The Board has lost Everton FC and all it stands for

i wouldnt say lost the dressing room but im quite sure there is some players have modern day footballing egos who have questioned our inability to tske our game to another level

TBH I think its more to do with confidence when playing at home against the "lesser sides" in the division this season - we usually start well, dont score in the first five / ten minutes and then everyone (team, manager, crowd, kenwrong) starts to think "Here we go again!", the opposing team notices and the wheels slowly but surely start to come off, with every mistake winding the crowd up even more.

Not that this is a new thing of course, but when we have done it so many times this season it probably has become a bit of a mental issue for the squad as a whole.

I don't think he's lost respect at all. I think it has to do with we have no one to compete for positions. If there was depth to our bench and the starting XI knew that at any game they could be replaced by someone else then the effort they put out would be much greater. Even though it's probably not an intentional lack of effort the knowledge that there's no risk of losing your spot still is in the back of your mind.

Im confused, just to clarify i take it we want Kenwright out, the board, Moyes, Round, Osman, Hibbert, Cokeman and Arteta all out and im only half half way down the Everton forum.

Im not one to knee jerk but is this knee jerking!

I had a dream the other night that I was Iain Turner and all the players hated Moyes and wanted Phil Neville as manager. It was very strange.
