Since Moyes, we have had 4 manager, 3 of which came here and tipped to become top managers and 2 have left failures and looking broken men, with another very likely to follow after recent poor results. I didn’t include big Sam as he just came in to do a savour job and to his credit he did that. Had the Everton managers job become a poison challis?

Poisoned Chalice: “an assignment, award or honour which is likely to prove a disadvantage or source of problems to the recipient”

I’m not sure the job would count as an “award”, it’s more of an affliction these days.

But in many ways, yes.

Since Moyes left the club we have employed Martinez, Koeman, BFS and Silva.

Now if you can't see that they where all shocking choices then there's no hope for you. None of them where ever going to work out here long term. Ever.

Its very simple, if we want a manager who will succeed here we need have ambition and long term goal. We need a good manager who has a positive vision for the club and our identity and then we need to back him. Its very simple, the club hasn't brought in a good manager, and they haven't properly given the bad ones the right tools to succeed with our horrendous recruitment. The people who run this club at the top have done way more damage to us then any manager we've had here.

Problem with Everton isn't that we are a poisoned chalice but while we go along happy with the 'People's Club' punching above our weight crap Kenwright pawned on club since he took over as Chairman , every other of the 19 clubs in league run themselves as professional football clubs ;-) We are Everton football club , the subsidary of Everton in the Community Charity ;-( Go on club website and look on what job opportunity at club are? 2 jobs as tutors for charity ;-(

We are a professional football team so need to be run as one which isn't the case ;-( Every new Manager or Player is put into situation of doing PR work rather then busting themselves for Football club! Its nice to do but its not their job!

The football side needs to be separated from the charity work and little connection between both as fans go on 'oh look Baines is great he visits schools or sick adults etc hello he is paid 80 or 90 thousand a week to be training and competing to be in team !

Looking through out the club structure and set up people get jobs from doing charity or being ex players going through a hard time etc! We need a cruel heartless person to take full charge of stuff and kick out the useless and hire proper professional people in positions!

No top Manager will touch us even for all the money in world if they have ambition and at minute no one involved at club from Board room, players, staff and even fans have that ;-(
