2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

Back on topic folks

Watching the Arsenal game and the player he reminds me most of in the admittedly limited bits of him I’ve seen is Adam Wharton who I think is a cracking player aswell. Armstrong seems to be very comfortable playing the ball on the turn first time and has very good physicality aswell. It would be interesting to see if he could add more goals but Preston do seem to cross early rather than looking for pullbacks to late arriving midfield runs.

Get Harrison Armstrong back then
I didn’t want him to go on loan but it now is what it is.
I’ve watched him play about 190 minutes this week , as much as we’re likely to see of him if he comes back for say 19 games at 10 mins each. Just try to see as much of him as you can at Preston Joey and enjoy his play as he’ll have the odd bad game and then the GOTerotty will be out with their “ Told you he’s hopeless “

Havent seen him for Preston yet.

It seems like he's being used box-to-box rather than the anchor role he had for Derby? Interestingly, both teams favour 3 in midfield.

If Moyes is still around next summer and Armstrong comes into the squad I wonder where he may have the biggest impact with us only using 2 CMs.

One aged 36 yrs old who strolled around yesterday ....

Classic Moyes youth development. Couldn't believe he was sent out on loan again.
He has a 6 month clause to return - he stated he wants to play & stay at PNE as he does not want to sit on the bench - so lets hope he is in the reckoning next season - I too thought he should have stayed but DMs reluctance to use 5 substitutes tend to agree with the lad - a waste of time to be recalled if he is not going to feature - I rest my case now ......
