I did mention his time at a relegation fighting Swansea, but I was told that he had the 'right type' of players around him there.

Another thing that's really annoyed me about his time here, is he was supposed to be this massive dead ball striker. Totally underwhelmed by him with our free kicks, in fact beginning to think he actually aims for the wall.

In all honesty, the team at Swansea wasn't actually built around him.

He hardly ever played in one position because they switched between a 4-3-3 and a diamond. Sometimes he played at the tip of a diamond/a striker, others he played in the 3 in midfield.

I've been a huge advocate I know but I will say he has been hopeless this season and if we wanna try and get rid then I'm behind it.

But he does seem to be public enemy no.1. Rightly so in fairness, though there are definitely other factors than him just being in bad form.

Yeh his free-kicks at goal have been poor. He's not scored one for us. Come very close a fair few times.

The stuff about people slating his set-pieces in terms of corners/crosses does grate me though.

If our players could actually head a ball he'd already be on about 8 or 9 assists this season. Look at the Holgate chance the other day.

Again, not saying he's been good enough, but when it comes to that particular stat there are other people involved. I've lost count of the times he's put a cross right on Mina's/Keane's head and it's flown over.

Take your point about free kicks that are crossed in mate, your right, we should score a lot more from them, they are excellent. The shot one's were the ones he was renowned for have been poor, as has his and Evertons corners for years.
