You were raving about Pellegrini???

I was? I believe I made the following statements.

"Pellegrini wouldn’t be my favoured choice (for Everton manager) but he’s a very good, well respected manager in all circles"

And

"Pellegrini a very experienced manager who’s been successful everywhere he’s been"

If you consider that 'raving' then fair enough. It's not quite how i'd see it. Lukewarm praise.
 
Anyone else notice that there are a lot of posters that don't come in to this thread anymore after lambasting others to all and sundry that their opinion/fact of Sigurdsson was absolutely delusional?

I wasn't that harsh in critiquing other people's opinions but I did stick up for Gylfi after his first season (pointing out his lack of pre-season, playing on the left etc). And he had a decent season last season - no excuses this year from me his criticism is deserved.
 


I feel that he may be a strong ally of the manager on the training ground and that is getting him into the team when he really should be nowhere near it.
