Whats are everyone thoughts about todays England squad selection?

Should Foden be selected?
Is it too early for Kyle Walker to comeback?
Time to rest Kane?

Forget the World Cup.
This is a UK type Local Derby / Cup-tie and, for as far as the Referee will allow it, will be played as one.
If it is, Wales have an underdogs chance of an upset.
1 in 10 they KITAP1...a Maquire / Stones mistake, or Pickford has a brain fart..maybe both.
2 in 10: and its 0-0
1 in 10: Blammo, not necessarily Bale.
1 in10: it's 1-1

5 in10: If England match the Intensity - without getting sucked in to it - it's theirs to lose.
Even if they bottle it and play for the draw...and fail...I don't see Wales putting 4 on them

I would start Foden and I am not against resting players given we are basically through and the difference between finishing 1st and 2nd isn't big. I'd probably rest Kane (won't happen) and Trippier (important player for both right and left back). If we are comfortable I'd give Phillips as many minutes as possible but wouldn't start him.

I genuinely can't fathom why they haven't played Foden. I heard Southgate's response about playing centrally etc., but I think he'd do Mount's job much better.

If Iran v USA is a draw, any win is good for Wales to go through on goal difference. The 4 goal win is about whether they can knock us out

I don't see any way he fully changes the team. Too risky and as we know Southgate doesn't do risk. Think it will be a few changes at most (3or 4) and a possibility of playing 3 at the back.
