If Lampard got sacked tomorrow and you gave me the pick of every single manager at this tournament, I would work my way down the entire list before I got to Southgate. I would have the Costa Rica manager or Rob Page over him, this is in no way an exaggeration.

I agree with you on the end. I just don't think England started out looking to draw. They didn't get the game going how they wanted and figured a draw was safer at that hour mark.

Anyway, England were very poor, Active shooters fought harder than us, but there was very little quality on the pitch, would Foden have made a difference? We will never know.

Lampard has Neal Maupay and Dwight McNeil as his attacking talent pool to choose from, Southgate has Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka, Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden to name just a handful.

Im not, if England won, I would be quite disgusting at this point.
The fact is, a draw is a great result for them and very bad for us, despite it doing us a solid.
