To all the people saying how great he was cuz you watched him play - definitely, he WAS. As a player.

He's not a player anymore, he's a Blue Bill mouthpiece, which is absolutely shameful and what people are saying. Takes a hot steamy one on his success as a player.

Basically, people need to realise we're way, WAY past the 80s and he's not a player anymore and he can both be a truly great player 40 years ago and a truly awful 'board member' today. He's not inexcusable and without fault just because he scored some goals if he keeps helping the downfall of the team that made him who he is and which he scored all those goals for and allegedly loves.

Classic "back in my day" crap tbh.

How long has he now been on the board? I'm quickly going off the fella but I'm at least going to hope he's trying to tell the club hierarchy a few home truths in private. I wouldn't want to put money on that though. A hero mostly, but he's beginning to grow a tail and some sinister looking front teeth. My opinion is kinda tempered by never expecting too much from former players or board members.

Great Post

He's a nodding dog. A bought and paid for stooge that sold his own legacy down the river for a few extra quid and a seat in the directors box. He sided with the people killing this club against the fans during its darkest hour. He's no hero. He's an enemy of Everton Football Club along with Moshiri, Kenwright, Baxendale and all their minions.
