Everton FC assistant boss Graeme Jones is adamant the players have the stomach for the fight that will ease worries of relegation.

The Blues have won just one of their last 12 Premier League games and find themselves just six points outside the bottom three in 14th place.

Everton have 10 league games remaining and Jones is convinced they will pick up all the points they need to allay fears of being sucked into the dogfight at the bottom of the table.

But Roberto Martinez’s trusted No2 admits they need to find the right balance when trying to cope with the demands of domestic and European competition.

Haven't had a decent number 2 for ages. Giggs at United thoug, and Neville before him show they are largely irrelevant in the modern game if you have a hands on manager.

Alan Irvine is looking for a job - step in BK and make him no 2 - he did well under DM - that's when we played some good football, and had a midfield that had some speed!
That would make RM wake up to the situation again BK is making it too cosy for our Managers!
