Del Rio under the name Dos Caras Jr had a decent record as an MMA fighter. 9 wins and 5 losses.

He's definitely a tough guy in real life.

He got fired from WWE when some backstage admin worker called him a racist name and Del Rio decked him.

Del Rio ended up getting his full release and pay-off from WWE, allowing him to work elsewhere, after he threatened them with a lawsuit for trying to cover up a racial incident.
