GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

with the women its still about the looks

with men not only do they need to stand out i.e. be a 8ft giant or a world strongest man mark henry gimmick if your a fattie man, or be a high flyer jeff hardy esque athlete

i still think the odds not great wrestler can get in as long as they have the charisma of the rock and some personality with the confidence of the miz

Things are changing, as shown by the recent signings of Kevin Owens & Samoa Joe. Two guys they wouldn't have signed 5 years ago because their looks don't fit their cookie cutter mould.

Not going to happen mate, he seams happey enough. Even if UFC doesnt work out for him, he can just fall back on writing comics and i wouldnt be suprised to see him write a tell all book soon. He's made good money and unlike lots of other top stars has been sensible with it. Not saying he'll never go back but i think it will be a good few more years at least until he even thinks about it.

I can see Punk going to New Japan if he ever wrestles again

Would fit The Bullet Club perfectly

Ye id agree that New Japan is much more likely but even then were prob looking at least three years imo and thats only if Punk completly fails in UFC. They'll want to make as much as they can out of Punk. would'nt be suprised if he was fed a jurneyman for his first fight. He's got to much pride to just slink back to pro wrestling stright away. Its just a shame that WWE made a guy who clearly cares about the buissness hate it like Punk does now.

Yeah, that Cena Vs Owens match was a slice of fried gold

Liked the match.....but really didn't like Cena just rolling out of the ring a second after the 3 count....he should have laid there and let Owens cut his promo standing over him, or atleast laid there long enough for the cameras to show him beat...

Don't see Austin vs Lesnar being a classic (agree that Austin's neck wouldn't be able to take all those suplex's)....but in order to sell out 105000 seats, you have to have big marquee matches, and Austin vs Lesnar is box office.....
This will be the biggest mania ever, and Austin def will be on the card....

Rock/Rousey vs HHH/Steph likely....Sting vs Taker possibly.....

Hogan is still pushing for "one last match" too. Chances of him passing a medical are pretty slim but he will do everything to be on the biggest card ever.

Would love to see Austin fight one last time. Would rather he fought HHH though as a win would make more sense in that case and I wouldn't want to see Austin lose. If he fights Lesnar, a Lesnar win is the only thing that makes sense.

its all about paige ! *drools*

if you havent seen how she made it to wwe, have a watch of this cool documentary on her family

Finally watched it.

Was weird seeing Paige before she was famous. She's not really changed that much.

Feel a bit sorry for the brother but he doesn't look that great!

A good watch though. I bet they don't live in that house anymore!

Yeah with Austin Lesnar, I think Austin might want to put Lesnar over as he's said many times he regrets walking out on wwe when he was asked to put him over on RAW....so this would put that right...

If wwe wanted Austin to win to keep the crowd happy, then its very easy to do that in a Texas death match but keep Lesnar looking strong....you could have Lesnar get 3 or 4 pinfalls, but have Austin beat the 10 count each time....eventually have Heyman, out of sympathy for a battered Austin interfere, giving Austin the chance to hit 5 or 6 stunners to lesnar for the pinfall and 10 count....

As for Hogan, yeah you just know he's gonna want to be part of this....only way I can think of getting him into a match would be the Andre the giant battle royal....he wouldn't have to take any bumps, and its easy to have him throw guys over the top rope....
