its all about paige ! *drools*
if you havent seen how she made it to wwe, have a watch of this cool documentary on her family
Her brothers are wrestling at the Liverpool Olympia this afternoon. The UK Hooligans is their tag team name.
they keep trying (and failing) to get in wwe proper. they seemed to prefer paige ! lol
Hey, a lot of people keep trying and failing to get into WWE. There's some great wrestlers in ROH and TNA that can't get in WWE, let alone two guys from the U.K.
take a look at the vid i posted a couple of replies ago. its shows you all about the process of trying to make it.
it is VERY hard to say the least. as a a male , you have to be a complete specimen to get in. i can see why they took NEVILLE on. that lad has everything the WWE look for.
I know mate, I saw it years ago when it aired on Channel 4. It's a good documentary.
WWE do tryout camps all the time in the U.S. (they did one this past weekend), and they always do them when they come to England twice a year. The next one is November in Manchester. It's invite only. William Regal does all the scouting and recommends who they bring in to test them out. They do a day of cardio and fitness, then do fundamentals in the ring and check out how good people are. Then they do a promo day, testing their speaking skills. There was a video on the tryout process here:

I'm friends with some of the British guys who have had tryouts. It's a tough process.

with the women its still about the looks
with men not only do they need to stand out i.e. be a 8ft giant or a world strongest man mark henry gimmick if your a fattie man, or be a high flyer jeff hardy esque athlete
i still think the odds not great wrestler can get in as long as they have the charisma of the rock and some personality with the confidence of the miz
