I just wish they hadn't gone to all the effort of making those awesome preview videos when the payoff is completly unrelated.

But incredible awesome none the less, its a classic example of less is more.
 
Could Jericho win the Rumble without actually doing anything? He could come down to the ring as the final competitor in the match, whilst there are only two people left in the ring, and they then proceed to eliminate each other whilst Jericho watches, leading to Jericho facing Punk at Wrestlemania (as rumoured a while back)

But who's gonna win it? And i don't mean Jim Neidhart.

Heard a few suggestions that one of the current world champs could win it and then have a unification match at mania. Could happen, the brand split is bollocks these days and having 2 world champs sucks, Bryan/Punk would be an indy fans wet dream so would probably be a 2 min no contest lol.

Jericho is a possibilty then there's the usual suspects, doesn't seem to be a clear favourite this year.
 
What do you think the chances are of The Rock and John Cena becoming tag team champions, before their match at Wrestlemania?

As for the Rumble, I still think Jericho will win it

I think both CM Punk and Daniel Bryan will retain their belts, I'm not sure regarding Kane and Cena.
 
Here's Smithy's list of potential winners and why:

Chris Jericho - just returned, said something about the world ending this Sunday. Oh and he's ace.

Randy Orton - Home town advantage. Returning to action. Possible winner.

Punk/Bryan - As stated above a current champion could win should they lose their title match. Reason being WWE have made a big point of saying this rumble is open to ALL WWE superstars. So champions could enter, divas too...

Wade Barrett - giving him a decent push at the minute.

The Rock - ok, a little my dream here...but he wins the Rumble, Cena is champ by mania, and they have a title match...hey it could happen!!

The Undertaker - Seems about time he returned.

John Cena - Just because it would annoy me.

Brodus Clay - imagine the dancing if he won!!

Other possibles: Sheamus (Kopite), HHH, John Laurenitis, Cody Rhodes, Alberto Del Rio, Kane.

In fact it's quite good that it's not obvious.
 
Dark horse - Drew McIntyre.

If he won instead of a traditional main-eventer, it'd be a break from the norm. Plus, his losing streak has to end somehow, and what better way to do it.

Oooooh that's intriguing. I quite like McIntyre and he's so under used since he was the 'Chosen One'.
 
Lesnar will be back, but I think the Rumble and even Wrestlemania is to soon.

As he is under contract to UFC - even though he is retired - any money made by Lesnar from WWE will have a percentage taken from it by the UFC. Sweet deal for them.
 
Punk still WWE Champ wins with help from Jericho, who eliminates himself when they are the final two left in the ring.

Jericho then gets a title shot at D Bryan at Elimination Chamber, setting up an Undisputed Title bout at Wrestlemania.

- Not sure - could be shennanigans here. Or Cena will just win.

World Heayweight Title Match - Daniel Bryan Vs Big Show Vs Mark Henry
- Daniel Bryan to win .... somehow.

The Royal Rumble Match
- Sticking with Jericho to win. But expecting massive shenanigans in this. Maybe a few shock entrants too.

Is that all the matches?! Bit weird if so.
