GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Well Foley definitely is but he's probably the best promo guy ever.

And after that i'd say Austin is.

Then there's a few guys who i'd say are similar levels to Jericho, guys like HBK, Lawler. All brilliant on their day but capable of cheesy half arsed promos when they couldn't be bothered. Then depending on how far you go back guys like Savage, Ted Dibiase, even Piper on his day.

Like i said, Jericho is very good but no way is he overall better than those guys

And as much as his jacket sucked, 25 seconds in is just pure brilliance.

Foley is a great shout. Austin, less so :P

HBK I found a bit limited, but he had natural charisma which shone through. Lawler... I don't really count. He didn't cut many promos as an active wrestler but he was a great colour commentator.

I think you're underselling Jericho to be honest. His Attitude promos on The Rock and Stephanie McMahon were things of beauty.

No he's basically a tvvat now. Kids love him adults boo the hell out of him.
Cena is a pain in the butt ,they make him out to be one of those type that get's beat up nearly all the match and from no where with one move just win even when it looks a certain defeat,He get's more boo's been a face [good guy] than a heel [bad guy] does

I remember when Cena had done the elimination chamber thing and he was like on the cusp of death and Edge bounced in with his money in the bank and speared [Poor language removed] out of him yet he still kicked out. Boss moment. Then Edge did it again and Cena lost like but ah well.

Well finally Brodus Clay made his debut on Raw after all the weeks building him up,his entrance to the ring was not what i was expecting ,i was expecting some type of buy guy.

Rumour that Yokozuna will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Limited wrestler but had a great run for 18 months.

He actually died in the Moat House Hotel (often wrongly said to be at the Adelphi) in Liverpool in October 2000, while working some low paid shows over here. He was only 34.

Makes sense to induct him the night before Wrestlemania, that was his cousin Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson can accept the award.

Yep,always remember that day when he died in Liverpool, off course i didnt know he was in Liverpool that day and i have seen the same thing about HOF

Its a shame Yoko was as big as he was cause you could tell there was a decent wrestler in their who was limited due to his size.

Of course its his size that got him his runs in WWF but with the right guy he could pull out a good match.

One of my favourite moments would have to be the 94 Royal Rumble :

So Raw was alright this week. Much improved on the previous weeks utter shi*e.

Jericho is still to say a single word, but my god, it's bloody brilliant. The Ultimate Heel.

Cena showing signs of turning heel. Can't see it actually happening myself.

Brodus Clay actually entertained me this week.

and CM Punk was amazing as always. He tore Laurenitis a new one this week and it was awesome.

Smithy's pick for the Rumble: Y2J Chris Jericho

With small inklings for an Undertaker return and an even small inkling for a Wade Barrett victory.

So, who is your pick?

The punk showdown with Laurenitis was so good it almost was feeling pretty real as that's how good can punk make things seem, yeah the rumours have been going round the last few weeks that jericho is set to win the rumble and finally speak the night after it,also its been getting said that orton is to win but i would not mind barrett myself as said i am a fan of his mic work etc
