How awful was last nights Raw? Mark Henry and Rusev having a pep rally as the main event? They need to get Ambrose back ASAP and promote Neville, Zayn and The Ascension.

Thought Summerslam was top-to-bottom the best non-Wrestlemania PPV they've had in a long time, but Raw has been shocking since then.

Thought Summerslam was top-to-bottom the best non-Wrestlemania PPV they've had in a long time, but Raw has been shocking since then.

Couldn't believe that was the main event on Raw, unbelievable.

I usually watch the entire Raw in about 30 minutes, has been [Poor language removed] for ages. NXT and the WWE Network is all i really watch now.

Of course they're generic. There's nothing different or interesting about them.

Yes, very competent wrestlers, Neville's finisher is very spectacular, but there's just no character there.

Zayn has a lot of charisma and cuts good promo's. He's an underdog fighting from beneath and trying to get his big win

That's a character. He has a distinct look and clear aspirations that distinguish him from other wrestlers

Neville is slowly morphing into a bitter heel

Again, it's subtle. It rewards you for looking deeper

I admit I've seen very little.

It's hard though. I'm just bored of wrestlers with like actual names.

Not sure that makes sense.

I'll try and explain.

Like in the past you had Stone Cold, The Rock, X-PAC (lol), Road Dogg, HHH, Godfather, Gangrel (Evertonian by the way), hell even Edge and so on.

Now I know it's only the name, but it's a first step to their character for me.

Adrian Neville sounds like Phil's long lost brother. Daniel Bryan sounds like an acoustic popstar, even Bray Wyatt. It's just a normal name!

Angle is weighing up his options, his current deal expires after TNA finish the TV tapings this week, and might just end up signing a new deal with TNA

Sting has signed some sort of deal with WWE, he was interviewed for the Ultimate Warrior tribute documentary and has both a DVD/Blu ray set due out here on October 6th and is the bonus DLC content with the new WWE game

Jericho definitely won't be at the Liverpool tapings as his current run ends after he faces Orton at the PPV on Sunday and won't be back till probably the run in to Mania

HHH will likely be at the Raw taping unless he and Steph go on 'vacation' during that touring period

Lesnar won't be unless he is defending the title at Survivor Series and they need his presence to advance the feud otherwise Heyman will do promo work for him

You have just said exactly what i was thinking, i dont understand how you can ask fans to stick around during these crap periods, yet everytime you come to england you leave the best behind. HHH on vacation and Heyman doing promo work is nailed on - Heyman's promos are great though.

I know what you mean mate, the UK raws (non-Lomdon ones especially) always seem to get jibbed off with the top stars never making the trip. That's why I never bother going. I'd love it if they had a PPV over here though, it was always argued they wouldn't do it because of the time difference it would mean fewer buys in the USA but with the network that seems irrelevant now. I'm not asking for Wrestlemania or Summerslam but they could give us something jarg like Payback/Battleground at Wembley as a one-off.
