GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

I hope that's the last we see of Brock. It was a perfect ending for him. Much more fitting than tapping out to Gunther. I wouldn't be surprised if he heard that there were plans for that to happen and thought "F that" and took things into his own hands.

He's always walked his own path. If he wants to be finished, he'll be finished, and we probably won't see him again until he goes into the Hall of Fame.

I would think the original plan was for Brock to win at Mania, and then lose to Gunther at SummerSlam in a retirement match....
But Oba got so over in the Mania build that Brock decided himself, lets just put Oba over and retire at Mania instead....

It's not as believable that Gunther would beat Lesnar anyways....and I don't really think Gunther has become a bigger star after the Cena and AJ matches.....losing to Jey and Punk last year has damaged him in my opinion, and he'll never be a wild enough character on the mic to hit that Top level...

I am a bit bored of all this Gunther retiring people type stuff angle that keeps playing out.

Punk vs Reigns was match of the year....they had me from the very start....great character work, great story telling....how wrestling can be when you have 2 experienced workers....loved the finish too..

hats off to Punk....he's waited a long time to Headline Wrestlemania properly, and he absolutely delivered

I suspect that's what went down with Oba and Brock, too.

I think they've dropped the ball with Gunther a bit. The heat he had after retiring Cena was nuclear, and they just did nothing with him after that. He disappeared off telly for weeks. I'm a fan of his, too. His Mania match with Seth was excellent, with really no build, but the "career killer" thing isn't going to work for him now, it's stale, and the tapping out to Jey Uso was bullshit which I agree damaged him long term.

Yeah, they’re ruining him.

Tapping to Jey Uso was just ridiculous and it’s hard to recover from that.

He’s apparently feuding with Roman for the title soon but he’s not going to come out on top in that so where does he go from there?

The career killer gimmick is stupid.

Kairi Sane is a surprise....long story build with Asuka, which I assumed was building to a SummerSlam match....

Black and Vega too....a good duo that wwe creative have wasted

They signed my favorite tag team (MCMG), gave them THE most generic theme song (honestly they had zero chance of getting an excited crowd reaction because of it, as would anyone else) I've ever heard, apparently did nothing with them and released them. Utterly clueless.

I think every wrestler should get involved with picking their own entrance song....its a huge part of your character, and if you accept what wwe gives you, you're likely in trouble....

The Tag team division in general is in the toilet again...not even a Tag title match at either night of Mania.....when I was a kid, the Tag titles were as big as the World title and IC Title...Demolition, Hart Foundation, Strike Force, British Bulldogs, Collosal Connection, Brain Busters, Rockers...don't get why they don't care about Tag team wrestling any more

Kairi Saine maybe it's the only surprise as she's mid storyline!

The rest aren't up to much. Thankfully Black has gone. Can't stand him!

Wyatt 6 was completely wasted too. Hopefully they all do better in aew! 🤣
did you know that apollo crews had been in the wwe for 11 years

now he is clearly someone who was never in the business for fame, he either just loved wrestling or loved the money he was making and was happy to just do whatever they wanted him to do

for the past fews years he's just been on Main Event and odd appearance on Smackdown here and there

who remembers the nigerian drum fight match at Wrestlemania?

i always kept wondering how he stayed in the wwe for so long
