Why does Ubdertaker have to lose his last match if it is to be his last match?
it is traditional for the retiring pro to lose their last match, part of the culture of passing the torch over to the younger star.

It will be a shame it is roman reigns but it would be great if they had Taker beat Reigns and then retire next year.

He doesn't but he will. Most big stars lose their final match and Taker losing was supposed to be him losing to a younger guy and propelling them to stardom. Unfortunately they've picked Roman Reigns and beating Taker will actually hurt him because he doesn't derserve it. It will make him even more unpopular then he already is.

Just watched the last segment of Talking Smack with The Miz and Maryse. And The Miz shows again why he's the best talker in the company by far at the moment. I'd rather watch The Miz talking trash for 4 hours than Wrestlemania, considering how awful the match card is looking atm

doesn't always have to be a young guy though

didn't shawn michaels retire ric flair?

that's why I was kind of expecting a cena v undertaker match
It doesn't have to be a younger guy at all. Shawn Michaels Vs Taker III would be brilliant but it's not going to happen. WWE currently have nobody on the roster with the credibility of a veteran to face Taker. It's also been a really badly kept secret for year's now that WWE and Taker wanted his last match to be a defeat to a younger guy to propel them to stardom. The problem they have is they don't have anyone credible enough to face Undertaker who isn't already involved in something at Mania.
