It doesn't surprise me in the least that they'd be so petty as to wreck so much work for such a little thing. Their hypocrisy is beyond belief, endless advertising for 'be a star' and yet their one of the nastiest bullying company's around. In no other industry would your boss be able to get away with treating his staff like this without any consequences.
Silly comparison. I haven't said Rusev should take them to tribunal or any such nonsense. I simply find it incredible that they would throw away two years of work for something so ridiculous. What they've done is bullying however you want to see it and they get away with this level of bullying all the time. It's their way of saying 'do what we tell you or you will be punished, do not give your opinion unless we agree with it or you will face consequences'. It's nothing to do with hurting Rusev's feelings, they've effectively just destroyed two years of solid booking in one pointless throwaway match against a total waste of space Big Show out of pure spite. They've hurt their own investment the idiots.
Goldberg could barely wrestle in his prime mate. Practically every decent match he's ever had he was carried to by a brilliant worker. There are one or two exceptions over his career but in the main he never could wrestle.
But it is though. It's not a question of making him lose its why they've done it and who they made him lose to. If they've just done it cos their idiots (which is very possible) then your right it's not bullying but if it was done to make a point that Rusev has done something they dislike then yes it's bullying. If your boss asked you to do something that made absolutely no sense, that was detrimental to everything you'd been working towards for two years, something that he/she had no intention of doing until you simply wished a departing college well then yes I'd say it was bullying. WWE management are notorious for bullying people.
If Rusev faced Goldberg for the title in the next week or so on RAW most casual fans (basically the marks WWE cater to these days) would think him a credible opponent and a possible threat. You couldn't say that for a good 95% of the roster. Yes he's been very much wasted on some of the rubbish WWE have booked him on but he's still one of the most credible heels WWE have. I do agree with you that he's a wasted talent (and he's far from the only one) because he could be doing so much better then he currently is.
