They do though. They do what makes them the most money. Which as a business is fine.

But from the more mature view it's not always best for us.
But it doesn't make them as much as it could. CM Punk put it very well in his shoot promo back in 2011. 'Vince is a millionaire who should be a billionaire, you know why he's not a billionaire? It's because he surrounds himself with nonsensical, glad handed douchbag yes men like John Laurinaitis who's gonna tell him everything he wants to hear'. Viewership is down on RAW and has been for a long while now, the network is the only thing making WWE a success right now. If it wasn't for that, they'd have no choice but to change direction of the company massively. As it is however, they'll continue to put out the same poor quality stuff (compared to what the talent could do if they were only allowed to be free of the creative shackles of Vince, the product is extremely poor) until it either reaches the point that they can't ignore it anymore or Vince finally walks away (which won't happen) thing's will only get worse.

Of course there are yes men. There are yes men in every business sadly. As Evertonians we know this all too well!

I hear people moan about Roman Reigns, and me as a fan agrees, me as a business person sees kids wearing Reigns gear. I've had enough of New Day and had ages ago, but go to an event and see their kit all over the place.

But people tend to only ever look at what they like themselves.

Loads of kids had Lex Lugar stuff back in the 90's to but he was still a disaster on every level. Roman Reigns sells less products to kids then half a dozen people on the roster. With Cena I at least understood their decision to stick with him as their top guy because he was undisputedly the fan favourite for the kids, similar situation for New Day but no such loyalty exists for Reigns. They could replace him with twenty or more people on the roster and the kids who currently love him would cheer that guy. He's a machine product and could be replaced easily.

As I say, if you don't like it, simply don't watch it.

I've stuck with the product for far to long now to just give up on it mate. I stayed watching WCW to the bitter end through all the Vince Russo garbage so it's going to take more then the current rubbish product WWE has to drive me away! I'll just stick around hoping for better times to come.;)

Don't worry though. It's just getting the end of that bit when wrestling goes a bit crap then gets loads better.

For want of better words, business is about to pick up.

Picture this.

winning the royal rumble 2017...........Nakamura.

And keep him off Tv as well. Have him appear to face off with probably Owens on raw and then go back to NXT. have him do all his promos and whatever over on NXT, being the champion there. Talk about taking Raw title and bringing it home to NXT (obviously he won't go over at mania, be a nightmare). But yeah, go about it that way, then Wrestlemania he comes out, fans pop massively and then him and Owens put on a brilliant Main event together being boss the pair of them, Nakamura has massive rep for almost winning title so when he does come up to the main shows he will be a big deal for whichever show has him.

Plus it removes 3 months of boring build up, gives NXT a massive shot in the arm of publicity as fans who don't already will tune in to see nakamura, and WWE can end the 2016-17 season making a huge babyface star without actually having to give them a title.

That's a damn good idea actually. I love it!
